Britney Spears to open VMAs.... Sort of. - Blog tmdfilms.tv: "Well Britney part 2 happens this Sunday (9-7-08) as she will once again open the MTV Video Music Awards.. only this time.. she won't be performing. I guess they're willing to let her be on the show again, but they still don't want to risk a performance like last year. No one knows what's she doing yet but it will be interesting to find out. After all, she is the same woman who kissed Madonna and wore a snake at past VMAs. Britney Spears is nominated for 3 awards including 'Video of the Year'.
