Voice-over King Dies at 68 - Blog tmdfilms.tv: "Movie-trailer voice-over king Don LaFontaine, who has recorded thousands of popular voice-overs over the years, died yesterday (9-1-08) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from illness complications. Voice-overs will never be the same now that he is gone. No one really ever knew his name or his face, but everyone knows his voice.. and he was ok with that. LaFontaine was 68 years old. His funeral hasn't been set yet. I will keep you updated as I learn more. Until then, this is King Drell signing out.
