Madoff Set to Plead Guilty, Faces up to 150 Years in Prison - The Mighty Dynasty: "Fallen Wall Street baron Bernard Madoff has said he is set to plead guilty at a hearing on Thursday to a massive multi-billion dollar fraud as prosecutors said he should spend the rest of his life in prison. Madoff has 11 counts of fraud. There is said to be no plea agreement and that he has to plead guilty to all 11 counts. They say Madoff has been scamming people since the 1980s all the way up until his arrest and has affected everyone from banks to celebritys to even charities. That is serious business. Knowing that he can get up to 150 years in jail, you would think he would at least try to fight it. I mean what does he have to lose? Oh well. We will have more later."
